Modular units may also be made to fit in with external aesthetics of any present building and modular units after constructed can be almost indistinguishable from a site-built construction.
Modular buildings can also contribute to LEED requirements in almost any kind site-built construction can, and can even supply an advantage in the areas of Sustainable websites, Energy and Atmosphere, Materials and Resources, and Indoor Environmental Quality. Modular construction can also provide an advantage in similar categories in the International Green Construction Code.
Flexibility. An individual can add to your modular construction, such as creating high rises. When the demands alter, modular buildings may be disassembled and the modules relocated or refurbished to their next use reducing the requirement for raw materials and minimizing the amount of energy expended to create a construction to meet the new need.
