Floor Covering Selections

We at Rochester Homes, Inc. have made an effort to offer the highest quality standard floor coverings in the industry. We offer a wide variety of color selections for your convenience, and a number of upgrades to satisfy every taste. We can also omit all floor coverings so that you can choose and install your own favorites once your home is on site.

Carpet Selections Shaw logo

Rochester Homes offers three different carpet styles from Shaw. Carpet is shipped loose and installed in your home on site, as this is the proper and most reliable way of installing your carpet. Factory carpet install is available but not recommended. We are standard with Gorham, and offer upgrades to Urban Living and Winsford carpets. See below for a description of each, see your local dealer for color samples.

  • Gorham- 100 % colorset Polpropylene, Textured Saxony, Colorset Solution-Dyed Fiber with ShawShiled, FHA Certified, 5 Year fade resistance warranty, 5 Year stain resistance warranty, 33 0unce carpet.
  • Urban Living- Cable and Frieze yarn construction combination for a fashinonable finish, 100% Anso extra body CFN, Textured and cabled cut pile, Shaw Stainsafety, FHA Certified, 5 Year Shaw StainSafety Warranty, 27 Ounce Carpet.
  • Winsford-100% CFN, no fuzzing or shedding, Formal saxony, Trated with Shaw R2x Soil and Stain Resistance, FHA ceritified, 5 Year Shaw Limited Warranty, 42 Ounce Carpet.

Vinyl Tile SelectionsNafco

We build our homes with beautiful, durable, and affordable Brookstone tile by Nafco. These tiles are made in the U.S.A., carry a 15 year warranty, and look and feel like a real ceramic tile- with a quiter and warmer underfoot. Brookstone tile will not rip, tear, or gouge like sheet goods but are more affordable than ceramics. Available in the colors shown below.

Laminate Floor SelectionsAlloc logo

 

We offer Alloc High Pressure Laminate floors as an upgrade. The high pressure laminate system is engineered for maximum durability and lifelong satisfactions. The aluminum locking system ensures strong joints which can withstand the weight of heavy objects. Alloc floors are aqua resistant and all edges are sealed against moisture penetration. Finally the sound absorbent underlayment makes for noise reduction on your floors. Available in the colors shown below.
